Take the following steps at: www.switch2tmobile.com
Step 1: Order Your Device
With a simple click, you can select a Simple Choice plan and amount of 4G LTE data, then check out. Once you reach the payment page, continue to step 2.
Step 2: Transfer Your Number
If you want to keep your number(s), you can transfer it by following one of these ways:
(1) The payment page at checkout will contain number transfer instructions that you can follow. If you don’t mind waiting until your new T-Mobile or SIM card arrives to use your phone, this would be the best step. Note: Don’t cancel your wireless account until you are positive the new T-Mobile account is active.
(2) Dial 611 or you can reach customer care at: 1-877-453-1304 when you get your new T-Mobile phone or SIM card.
If you have already submitted your reimbursement request, you can go to switch2tmobile.com and hit the “check status” button.
Step 3: Trade Your Current Device in
Now, it’s time to trade in your current device. You can do so in one of two ways:
(1) After you have received your new device, go back to the “trade-in-page” and here, you can get a trade-in credit. The credit will be based on the current market value of the eligible device. Make sure you do this within 14 days.
(2) At checkout, when you are on the order confirmation page, all you have to do is add the device information. Then, you will have the opportunity to print the free postage-paid shipping label. Once this is done, send your device.
Step 4: Submit the Final Bill
Shortly, as long as you put in a cancellation request with your old carrier, you should receive a final bill along with your Early Termination Feeds or the remainder of your payment plan balance. Go to www.switch2tmobile.com and submit the final bill electronically. This will give you the opportunity to get a Visa Prepaid Card in the amount of your remaining balance and ETF.
